My day

We had a fun day today, my stepson’s were here with their girls they make hamburgers and brats for our dinner hmm and they bring dessert too. We were invited in a house warming party but we missed it which it’s ok cause hubby and me spend some quality time with his boys. We all watched movie together but we didn’t finish watching it cause they need to go. The youngest one and his girlfriend have a party to attend and the two boys just went home straight ahead. So it’s me and hubby here again (sigh) what a life hehe!
Well need to go for now people my sister is online.

Garden Fresh

Two weeks ago, I posted about my fruits in our backyard and I mentioned my grape vine and strawberries. Guess what, I am soo happy this morning to see that the fruits are ready for picking. Yuhoooooooo I am so excited to pick those and eat them up I might need some help here lol. Hubby is very happy to see the excitement in my eyes. He planted those for me (thanks honey).

It is very nice to see that the seeds we planted turned into beautiful flowers. When you nurture something there is always a great reward waiting for you in the end.

Planet Mars

My husband’s client down in Parker shared this picture of the tornado that he took out in their backyard last night (You got a really good eye buddy). I’m sure that thing can spin anything around. Thanks God it didn’t hit or hurt nobody.

A GirL Thing

I finally realize how bad I treated my husband and being such a b**ch yesterday:(. Thanks God he is so patient or else he already threw me up in the window (lol). Sometimes I can’t help it especially when mp is coming I get very touchy or very moody (sigh) I know you girls experienced this too, so for sure you understand and know what I’m talking about hehehe.

Still have lots to say but I have to go for now and need to get ready. We’re going to a friend's Wedding Anniversary party yeppeyy. I will post some pictures when we get back. Have a great day everyone.

Sensible Shoes

I was really frustrated whole day today and I didn’t know why I was really mean to my hubby it kept getting worst and worst he thought I hated him. I have a headache and I know my period is coming. So instead of debating he took me to the mall cause I need to pick up my dress that’s been altered and then he found a pair of shoes that he thinks goes well with my dress and I wasn’t in the mood to like what he likes he felt they were cute lil black pumps with a heart shape rime stone decorative piece but I refuse to like it. Even the lady in the store insisted that it’ll be a sexy pair with the dress.

I knew hubby was upset that I would not accept his gift so I let him buy the shoes knowing on the way home I would then tell him how much I hated them and didn’t want him to buy them. He got more upset that I allowed him to buy them and would later tell him I’d never wear them.

You see, my day was really off key and I treat hubby so bad when all he wanted to do is make me happy. Don’t you girls have this moment too? right?

He is bored

Our Ming ming (cat) is mad cause we did not let him out for almost a week now, me and hubby already learned our lessons and don’t want to take care of his mess. He loves to hangout at the backyard and when he comes back inside the house he always has something, a bird, a rabbit or mice. He doesn’t eat it though he just want to play with it and if he knows that its still moving man he’s not going to stop till he see’s the little creature breathless. So we decided not to open his kitty door and oh my I’m paying for it now he scratched me the other day which he never did before and he is so hyper he even banged his head on the door he is really eager to go outside. We don’t have any choice but to let him stay inside poor Ming ming.

An Incredible love story

An incredible love story has come out of China recently and managed to touch the world. It is a story of a man and an older woman who ran off to live and love each other in peace for over half a century. The 70-year-old Chinese man who hand-carved over 6,000 stairs up a mountain for his 80-year-old wife has passed away in the cave which has been the couple's home for the last 50 years.Over 50 years ago, Liu Guojiang a 19 year-old boy, fell in love with a 29 year-old widowed mother named Xu Chaoqin..

In a twist worthy of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, friends and relatives criticized the relationship because of the age difference and the fact that Xu already had children. At that time, it was unacceptable and immoral for a young man to love an older woman.. To avoid the market gossip and the scorn of their communities, the couple decided to elope and lived in a cave in Jiangjin County in Southern ChongQing Municipality. In the beginning, life was harsh as they had nothing, no electricity or even food. They had to eat grass and roots they found in the mountain, and Liu made a kerosene lamp that they used to light up their lives. Xu felt that she had tied Liu down and repeatedly asked him, 'Are you regretful? Liu always replied, 'As long as we are industrious, life will improve.'In the second year of living in the mountain, Liu began and continued for over 50 years, to hand-carve the steps so that his wife could get down the mountain easily.

Half a century later in 2001, a group of adventurers were exploring the forest and were surprised to find t! he elderly couple and the over 6,000 hand-carved steps. Liu MingSheng, one of their seven children said, 'My parents loved each other so much, they have lived in seclusion for over 50 years and never been apart a single day. He hand carved more than 6,000 steps over the years for my mother’s convenience, although she doesn't go down the mountain that much.'

The couple had lived in peace for over 50 years until last week. Liu, now 72 years, returned from his daily farm work and collapsed. Xu sat and prayed with her husband as he passed away in her arms. So in love with Xu, was Liu, that no one was able to release the grip he had on his wife's hand even after he had passed away. 'You promised me you'll take care of me, you'll always be with me until the day I died, now you left before me, how am I going to live without you?' Xu spent days softly repeating! This sentence and touching her husband's black coffin with tears rolling down her cheeks.

In 2006, their story became one of the top 10 love stories from China, collected by the Chinese Women Weekly. The local government has decided to preserve the love ladder and the place they lived as a museum, so this love story can live forever.

A cold day

Weather is not so pleasant today it’s been raining since this morning (tempereture is only at 54f), but still me and my lovey dove still run errands even though it’s chilly outside, we don’t mind hehe. We ate our dinner at Chilli’s I ordered half a rack of baby back rib with mashed potato and corn in the side hmmm yum yum, hubby ordered country fried steak and he really loves it, the food was great. After our dinner we go to a shoes store (window shopping) they don’t have allot of selections plus they’re expensive so we left and go to the store next door looking around for a lil bit and gotcha I found a shirt for hubby and its on sale instead of $40 each we only pay $19.99 we only pay half of the original price, good deal huh! What do you think?

Happy Wedding day

Today is my brother’s wedding day. We regret that we are not there to share in their celebration and witness this wonderful day of theirs. My brother is a very good man and I know he will be very good to his new bride. Congratulations Kuya Kay and Ate Tha.. We wish you guys forever happiness and never ending love….

Road Trip

Did you ever try being in the road sitting in your butt for more than 16 hours? It feels like forever huh! Being on the road for me was exciting and fun cause you can see some scenic places, see what the other State looks like. But sometimes it gets really boring too like you can only see cornfields, cornfields, and cornfields (from Nebraska to Illinois) it was the largest cornfield I saw OMG it’s like a never ending one.

Hubby and I have a scary experience on the road while were on our way to Michigan, it’s like 2 in the morning and were still driving I fall asleep and doesn’t really know what’s going on, when I woke up he told me that there’s a car been following us since were in Indiana and that one really shakes me and there’s allot of what if’s in my mind. Hubby doesn’t show me any worries cause he knows I’m gonna freak out he just told me that maybe he’s drunk or etc etc. It really makes me nervous cause I saw the car behind us and every time my husband slows down from 70 to 35 mph to see if he would pass us but he don’t at first, then we moved into the left lane and braked hard soo he had to go pass us then we got behind him but he wouldn’t speed up to the normal speed limit soo hubby waited following him until he passed the next exit and he couldn’t get off but we could and hubby lost him. It was the safest thing to do besides hubby need to get gas hubby knew that it would be too late for him to follow us again. Thanks God were safe. It was a very scary experience but its not gonna stop us from doing our road trips again..:)

Bored!

I am alone and bored here at home hubby went to see his client in Fort Collins, he wants me to go with him but I’m not in the mood to sit in the car for hours (sigh).

So to kill my boredom I decided to play a game and it still doesn’t help me arrrgggggggg (tabang gilaay jud ko ug maau).

Rest up

I just finished my daily chores and here I am again in front of my pc clicking here and there, Hubby and I don’t have any plans for today we’re tired from our yesterday’s adventure, plus hubby has lots of driving to do tomorrow with two clients to see for designs. So I am here doing my blogging thing while he is playing his online game (Warcraft). Speaking of Warcraft I am really addicted and become very good into it, I can even kick some ass including John (My hubby) which he is the one who teach me how to play and how to kick his butt (LOL).

Oh you probably are wondering what our adventure yesterday was. We have 3 Cities to gamble here in Colorado two of them are next to each other Blackhawk and Central City that’s where we been yesterday, it was raining up there but it doesn’t stop us from looking around for few different places just to find an older nickel slot machines, after trying two places we finally found the place that I want.. I don’t want to play for $1 one cause they will just going to eat your money right away while at the nickel slot you can play for a long time. We did have some fun and decided to quit while were ahead, ate our lunch there look around for a lil bit and drove home.

Have to go for now hubby wants me to play warcraft with him or maybe he just want me to kick his butt again (he he he). Have a good Sunday everyone....Ciaooooo

Fruit Lover

I was so surprised this morning when I looked at the backyard and saw my tiny apple tree, the fruits are getting red some of it are almost ready to be pick. Hubby planted it for me cause he knows how much I love apples. In fact we also have grape vine and strawberries the fruits are getting there too. So you can truly see I really like fruits my day isn’t complete without it, oh I almost forgot we also planted watermelon…So if you want some just whisper to me don’t be shy (hehehe).

Ming Ming strikes again

I got up early cause of the strange screeching noise, Hubby was in the bathroom that time and came out immediately to see what it was and you won’t believe it our Ming Ming (Cat) had caught a bird outside and brought it out to our room to show us his prize…Oh that poor lil bird was screaming to death for his life, Hubby get the empty cookie bag and just in time he saved the birds life and took it outside to let him be free again. Don’t get me wrong Ming is a very cool cat he comes to you like a dog when you call him and he always wants attention, well what can I do I can’t punish him I love him too much …..

Its good to be back

I have a very good day today me and hubby went to the Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden it was hard to find but eventually we found it. The Shrine is on top of the hill so we had to climb 300 some steps to see this beautiful Statue of Jesus and Ohh my what a sight it was. You can see for a 100 miles including the whole City of Denver. Too bad i did'nt took allot of pictures my camera battery went dead (what a bummer). It was really worth a drive though. Whew! I miss doing this, I have't open this thingy for almost a week i think, having a lil problem with my pc but thanks God it is already fixed (smiling)...Have a goodnight everyone...
