Nothing much to do today its kind of cold outside and I don’t feel like going anywhere but we need to go to the store. I would like to pull out the weeds in the backyard cause next week they will be as tall as me but the laziness is just hanging around the corner :). Oh boy! There’s days that you don’t feel like doing anything, right? So this is one of those days for me (sigh). How about you guys what are you up to today?

The Uninvited
Hubby let me pick the movie for tonight and I did choose one. I like scary movies so when I read the title I just told him to order it and he did. It was soo funny cause I keep jumping up in the couch and it would startled him each time I did that. Even my 19 years old step son was covering his eyes cause it scare’s him too and now I don’t want to go downstairs alone he he. If you have Comcast cable just look for it in the top pick session. I don’t want to ruin the movie for you guys just watch it for yourself and I’m sure you will going to scream. Have a sweet dreams people.

Happy to see her
I can still remember my sister's face when she saw us pulled up in front of their driveway. She was stunned so surprised and her expression was priceless. I was soo scared of flying but when I saw her and spend time with her I told my self she's definitely worth it. The whole trip was a blast.

Disney Dreams do Come True
Spaceship Earth needs some loving...it's high time they put forth some effort into updating it's technology to meet with the times. It broke down several times while we were on it...and as nice as the rest was, we were glad when the ride ended. Festival of the Lion King was enjoyable, but crowded as could be. It was rather difficult to see from where we sat, which happened to be behind a guy that seemed to be 7 feet tall, but otherwise, not bad at all. The Tarzan Rocks, though now gone from the park, was one of my favorites of the trip....something about a muscular man in a loin cloth was what I mumbled while I'm sleeping that night.

The Window
Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.
And every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.
The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.
As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.
Days and weeks passed.
One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the world outside. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it for himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall.
The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."
Epilogue. . . .There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. If you want to feel rich, just count all of the things you have that money can't buy. "Today is a gift, that's why it is called the PRESENT".

Cancelled Flight
Due to some very personal reason Hubby and I just decided to totally cancel our flight to the Philippines. We were supposed to fly there next week May 18th but things change just like that; he wants me to go there by my self but I can’t leave him here. I don’t like the fact that I will be enjoying there and he works his butt off here. I know I will disappoint my family but I’m sure they will understand. I am kind of happy cause I am not comfortable being in the airplane and I hate turbulence. Maybe this trip is not really meant for us…Have a good day people :)

My Monday
I am still waiting for my hubby to be done with his work. He promised to take me to the mall today; I am planning to get a lil something for my friend Arnie. She’s getting married end of this month and I still don’t decide what to buy her. Hope to see some cutie girly stuff in the mall later. For now I am jealous cause my dear friend Mj is at Lizel’s house and of course the chef cooked some of her specialty. My mouth waters when I heard them said they have sinabawan Oh my I haven’t had that for so long. Wish I have wings and bet ya I will be there in just a blink of an eye he he he. Enjoy your Sunny Monday Everyone….

Wide Awake
It's already past midnight but we are still wide awake. May and her husband Ray took us out to Ruby Tuesday for dinner (Soo nice of them). After we ate our dinner we go straight back home to play warcraft. I think Ray is hooked to that game too he he and now we are trying to get his wife to play it but I think it's not her thing :)...
So now four of us are in front of the computer. Our husbands are playing warcraft and the wifey's are doing the blogging thing.. I convinced her to enter the blogging world and she did.. Wish her luck everybody :)
